Alternatives to Taxd
The selector keeps Taxd for landlords and sole traders, including people with both kinds of income. Its cheapest plan is listed as £6 a month, VAT not stated (Bridging (without year-end return)). Of the 13 other products on this page, 10 differ from it on a free plan, five on bank feeds and nine on support for jointly owned property. Taxd suits spreadsheet users who want low-cost bridging with an optional year-end return, sole traders and landlords who want day-to-day tracking alongside a traditional accountant for complex year-end advice and people who want to add year-end filing without a separate accountant engagement, and we checked its prices on 25 October 2026.
If it does not fit, these are the other products the selector keeps for the same people. They are in the order the selector itself uses: how well each one fits that kind of income first, then the price, then the name. Each one’s cheapest plan and the points where it differs from Taxd come from our checks of the provider’s own pages, so where we say a product does not offer something, it means we did not find it there.
If you already use Taxd for Making Tax Digital, the guide to changing your MTD software explains what GOV.UK says about when you can move and what happens to your records.
