What GOV.UK changed on the pages we cite
Our guides on Making Tax Digital and renting lean on GOV.UK pages for their dates, thresholds and rules. When GOV.UK updates one of those pages, it usually publishes a short note saying what it changed. This page collects those notes, newest first, so you can see in one place what has moved and follow the link to read the page itself.
Each note is GOV.UK's own description of its change, quoted as GOV.UK published it. It is not our reading of the change, and a note may describe something that makes no difference to what you need to do, such as clearer wording or a new example. Where a change matters to a guide, we update the guide after reading the page again.
These are the notes GOV.UK published between 17 April 2026 and 17 October 2026, the day we last read the pages, with up to three of the newest notes for each page. Notes that only say a translation was added are left out.
