How this site is funded

Short version: right now, it isn't.

There are no affiliate links on Acrenvo today. No ads. No sponsored placements. No selling of data, email addresses or anything else. The running costs (a domain and hosting, together less than a takeaway per month) come out of one person's pocket.

That will probably change. At some point this site may add affiliate links, meaning if you click through to a software provider and subscribe, they pay us a small commission. Standard practice for comparison sites. When that day comes, three things hold:

First, you'll know. This page gets updated the same day, and affiliate links will be labelled.

Second, the order you see software in doesn't change. The compare table and the selector read from one dataset, and the filter logic has never had a money input to be biased by. Flipping commissions on doesn't touch it.

Third, a product being commission-free won't get it buried. untied pays nobody and it's still our first answer for mixed-income filers, because it's the right answer.

The deadline-reminder emails are free and stay free. Your address never gets sold or swapped.

Why publish this page at all? Because comparison sites usually don't, and the silence is the tell. We'd rather be checkable.
