Alternatives to LandlordFile
The selector keeps LandlordFile for landlords. Its cheapest plan is listed as £29 a year including VAT, about £2.42 a month (Annual (quarterly updates only)). Of the six other products on this page, four differ from it on a free plan, three on bank feeds and six on support for jointly owned property. LandlordFile suits landlords with two to ten UK properties who already keep good spreadsheet records, landlords who want the lowest yearly cost for quarterly updates and will file the year-end return elsewhere and landlords who would rather pay for each quarterly filing than take out a subscription, and we checked its prices on 25 October 2026.
If it does not fit, these are the other products the selector keeps for the same people. They are in the order the selector itself uses: how well each one fits that kind of income first, then the price, then the name. Each one’s cheapest plan and the points where it differs from LandlordFile come from our checks of the provider’s own pages, so where we say a product does not offer something, it means we did not find it there.
If you already use LandlordFile for Making Tax Digital, the guide to changing your MTD software explains what GOV.UK says about when you can move and what happens to your records.
