MTD software price changes in October 2026

Price and plan changes we checked

1. Landlord Studio, recorded on 10 October 2026

   We had shown Landlord Studio's extra-unit charge as £1.20 a month, which is the rate for monthly billing. With the annual Pro price we show, each extra unit costs £1 a month. Landlord Studio still charges £1.20 a unit on monthly billing, so this corrects our page rather than reporting a price cut.

2. Coconut, recorded on 11 October 2026

   Coconut's pricing page no longer offers the Full plan, which we had shown at £159.99 a year (about £13.33 a month). The page now shows MTD Bridging, Bookkeeping and MTD filing, so we have taken Full off our page. The MTD Bridging and MTD filing prices are unchanged.

3. Lendlord, recorded on 11 October 2026

   We had shown Lendlord's Premium Plus plan at £299 a year on annual billing, about £24.92 a month. Its pricing page now shows £25 a month billed annually. The £36 monthly price and the Premium plan's prices are unchanged.

4. LetCompliance, recorded on 11 October 2026

   We had shown LetCompliance's free plan for one property as including MTD quarterly updates. LetCompliance's pricing page now lists Making Tax Digital as part of its paid plans, so the cheapest way to send MTD updates for one property is the Single plan at £7.99 a month, and we no longer list the free plan. The free plan still keeps one property's compliance score, certificate reminders and documents.

5. RentalBux, recorded on 11 October 2026

   We had shown RentalBux's Landlord and Landlord + Self-Employed plans at one price, whatever the number of properties. Its pricing page now shows that those prices cover 1 to 3 property units, with higher prices for 4 to 10 and 11 to 20 units, and larger portfolios priced on request. We could not read that page last time, so this may correct our page rather than report a price rise. The prices for 1 to 3 units and for one self-employed business are unchanged.

6. Nomi, recorded on 12 October 2026

   Nomi's pricing page for accountancy practices now starts its Self Assessment rate at £5 plus VAT for each submission, up from £4 when we checked the day before, and this practice rate is separate from the business-owner prices we show for Nomi.

7. LetCompliance, recorded on 25 October 2026

   LetCompliance has lowered the yearly price of its two smallest plans. Single, for one property, is now £63.92 a year instead of £76.70, and Solo, for up to three properties, is now £119.92 a year instead of £143.88. Its pricing page says a year on a landlord plan now costs the same as eight months paid monthly. The monthly prices of £7.99 and £14.99 have not changed, and LetCompliance still says no VAT is added.

8. untied, recorded on 25 October 2026

   We had listed untied Lite, at £64.99 a year (about £5.42 a month), as one of untied's MTD plans. untied's pricing page shows Making Tax Digital and property income as not included on Lite, so we have taken Lite off our page. The cheapest untied plan with MTD is Pro, still £129.99 a year including VAT. This corrects our page; untied's prices have not changed.

The figures for July to September 2026 were frozen on 3 October 2026. Across the 22 products with a paid plan, the cheapest paid entry price was £2.00 a month and the median was £8.13 a month. The report for July to September 2026 explains how these figures are worked out.
